Stop the Overflow First
Reach behind the toilet and turn the oval shutoff valve clockwise until the water stops. If the valve is stuck or broken (common on older valves), take the tank lid off and lift the float to stop the fill — then call, because a seized valve needs replacing anyway.
What We Fix
Clogs the plunger can't touch (including things kids flush — we've retrieved it all), flapper and fill-valve failures that cause phantom running and overflow, cracked tanks and bowls, wax ring leaks that rot flooring, and full toilet replacement when repair doesn't make sense. Flat price quoted before we start.
When an Overflow Means Something Bigger
If the toilet overflows when the washer drains or the shower runs, the problem isn't the toilet — it's the main line backing up. That's a different job, and an urgent one. We camera the line and show you exactly what's happening.
Frequently asked
The toilet keeps almost overflowing then draining slowly — emergency?
It's a partial clog that will finish the job soon, usually at the worst time. Same-day is smart; 2 AM emergency isn't required yet.
Sewage came up in the tub when I flushed — what is that?
Main sewer line blockage. Stop running all water and call now — that one is an emergency.
